Pre-placement talk/presentations
This process involves the organisations, which have been approached for recruitment, to give a talk or a presentation on what exactly they do on the field. This session consists of talks on the history and origins of the organisation, type of work done on the field, kind of work and opportunities they offer etc. Also, this is the time when students put forth queries to the recruiter, on the basis of the presentation shown to them.
Application/CV submission
This is after the presentation and discussion is over. Based on individual interest and the company's criteria for accepting applications, the list of interested (& elligible) students would be sent to the Organisation. This step needs to be done in a specified time frame. After this the Organisation would be given sufficient time to shortlist candidates for further screenings andinterviews.
Selection Process 
After the shortlisting of candidates, the Organisation calls shortlisted students for interviews. After the interviews are over, then comes the time for the organisation to confirm appointments of the selected candidates. The confirmation needs to be received by TISS/Placement committee within a given time period(within 3 days).
